Tre storie d’olio
Today, we chose to stay. To put down strong roots in this land that has taught us patience, dedication, and care. And to shape it into something new — young, aware, and unmistakably our own. Trivio is our shared vision. It is our desire to tell the story of Basilicata through its green gold. It is our way of being sisters, women, and entrepreneurs.
Antonella, a biomedical engineer. Not exactly from the world of olive mills, no — but when passion runs in your blood, it finds its way into everything you do. Alongside her love for olive oil, there is also a deep bond with our land: a place still too often overlooked, yet rich in history, culture, and authentic products waiting to be rediscovered. She is the creative and organisational force within the group, always attentive to the health and nutritional value of olive oil, which for her is, above all, a source of wellbeing and knowledge.
Michela studies Agricultural Sciences, and for her olive oil is truly part of everyday life — and of her roots. The roots of the olive trees, of course, but also her own. She is the youngest, yet the clearest in her purpose: to start again from her own land, to stay, to grow. She is “the expert” — the one who works in the field, who observes, studies, and experiments. She is the technical point of reference for everything related to olives, harvesting, and production. An inexhaustible source of ideas and energy, she keeps Trivio constantly moving forward.
Mariella is the eldest, and every day she works closely with students and with ideas in the making. She has always been passionate about tourism and communication, and has helped organise events and projects that taught her the value of people, relationships, and sharing. Perhaps it is precisely through this constant exchange that she is always able to bring a fresh perspective to the business. She looks after communication and the company’s connection with the local area, with a particular focus on environmental sustainability and the kind of experiential tourism that grows around olive oil.
From our grandfather Michele, who cared for the land with patience, to our father, who still does so today with the same dedication, every moment of our story has left something with us. But our roots also run deep on the other side: in our mother’s stories and in the gestures of our other grandparents, guardians of a rural culture shaped by respect, simplicity, and shared work.

It is from that shared inheritance, both paternal and maternal, that everything begins. That is where we started — driven by our love for our family and for our land — to set out, together yet each in her own way, along our threefold path.
